Elliptical Black Walnut Handrail

Haldane has provided the perfect finishing touch for a luxury home in Hertfordshire by manufacturing and installing elliptical handrails in American Black Walnut.

Haldane worked in partnership with the metalwork company to deliver the balustrading and handrails for the feature staircase.

The marble double staircase which leads up to the stunning gallery area features over fifty linear metres of 60x40mm elliptical handrail a top bespoke metal balustrades.

Timber Arch Window for Church Renovation

Haldane UK have manufactured stunning timber Gothic arch window for a church refurbishment project in Scotland.

Haldane worked closely with the joinery contractor on site, using templates to digitise the exact shape of the window before drawing and programming over 60 individual components.

The components were then manufactured on Haldane’s 5 axis CNC technology to provide the perfect finish.

The windows were manufactured in a paint grade timber and supplied as components to be assembled on site.

Bespoke Timber Ladders

Haldane UK has manufactured and supplied 56 sets of bespoke timber ladders for a specialist shopfitting company as part of an offshore refurbishment programme.

The ladders were manufactured from steamed beech and stained with a cherry finish and supplied as a flat pack set ready for the shopfitting company to apply the fire resistant coating.

The ladders were manufactured using Haldane’s 3 axis CNC to form the stringers and the anti-slip treads.

External Handrails in Timber

Haldane has manufactured and installed one of its largest handrail profiles in its history with the completion of latest external handrails project for a bus station in North East England.

The company manufactured 34 linear metres of profiled Iroko handrail which measured in at 208mm wide by 118 mm high.

Iroko is generally seen as one of the best timbers for external use. In fact it is often used for boat building and can prove to be difficult to work with, blunting tools very quickly.

Haldane's Handrail for Hollywood A-Lister London Home

Haldane has added yet another name to its growing list of celebrity clients with the completion of its latest handrail project in an exclusive area of London for one of the UK’s biggest movie stars.

Haldane manufactured and installed an elliptical handrail measuring 70mm x 40mm in European White Oak to sit on bespoke metal balustrading for the actor’s luxury home.

Staircase Refurbishment for Store in Paris

Haldane UK has completed the refurbishment of the feature staircase in the flagship Hackett store in Paris after successfully completing the stores in London and Edinburgh.

The Paris project required Haldane to replace the existing mitred handrail with a continuous American White Oak handrail which was then stained to a dark oak for a vintage appearance.

The staircase featured 24 metres of 100 x 80mm profiled timber handrail with a variety of ramps, 90° and 180° bends and wreathed end caps.

Stunning Rounded Doors for Country Home

Haldane’s expertise in timber machining and their ability to manufacture any shape from any commercially available timber was tested to the full with the contract to supply four rounded doors for a country home refurbishment programme.

The client had approached numerous door companies before turning to Haldane UK who had successfully manufactured and installed the staircase earlier in the project.

The doors were manufactured to match the existing four panel doors on site and supplied primed ready to be painted on site.

Timber Louvre Screens

Haldane UK has manufactured over 330 timber louvre screens for a major residential development in the South of England.

The louvre screens were manufactured from sapele which had been pressure treated to provide essential protection from the elements.

The project which was split in two phases to meet the construction schedule required two different heights of screens and various widths all featuring a simple square section sitting on square battens.
