Haldane has added its superb quality finish to a stunning spiral staircase at a prestigious residential development in conjunction with Diapo one of the UK ‘s leading architectural metalwork contractors.

The stunning feature stair was constructed using a diverse range of materials including stone treads, acrylic balustrade, mild steel structure and 12mm toughened glass.

Haldane manufactured the 50mm diameter spiral handrail from American White Oak which was then stained to provide a luxurious black walnut finish.

Managing Director, Forrester Adam , explained “The handrails swept smoothly up the spiral and then flowed perfectly on to the horizontal to form the atrium area. As budget was a key concern our highly skilled installation team were able to mitre the corners of the handrail to provide a superb finish.”
