Based in Richmond, the office will take responsibility for developing the company's client base in London and the Midlands working with architects, property developers, metalworkers and end clients.
Operating from is 25,000 square foot manufacturing base in Scotland, Haldane has completed a number of prestigious projects in the London and South East area over the years, including Canary Wharf, Sotheby's, Bluewater Shopping centre as well as numerous private homes.
It's team of 40 dedicated employees have helped to establish Haldane as the UK's market leader for handrails and stairs and the opening of the office is seen as a statement of intent as it looks to capitalise on its position in the market and reputation as the most advanced architectural joinery company.
Haldane's Managing Director, Forrester Adam, said "The London market has always provided us with a steady stream of enquiries and projects however we have curtailed our success by not having a dedicated presence in the area to maximise our potential."
He continued, "Our ability to transform staircases with luxurious timber handrails, stair components and timber treads in any timber and in any shape or profile is relished by architects and designers who can unleash their imagination and create a stair with the WOW factor."
He added, "We have had a dedicated installation team in the London area for a number of years and this is the next logical step to provide our growing client base with the level of support they require."
