Haldane UK Enters London Market

Haldane UK, a market leader in the manufacture and installation of specialist handrails and glazing beads, has recently completed a prestigious project manufacturing and fitting superior quality timber handrails in 12 houses at Acacia Road, London. Tthe houses are valued at anything between £1.6 and £3 million.

Haldane UK manufactured and installed 150 linear metres of American white oak handrails throughout the properties, featuring 78 linear metres of spirals, and 112 wreaths and 12 finished ends for that extra touch of quality. The overall value of the handrails is £67, 500.

Sean O'Driscoll, project manager in Taylor Woodrow's Construction Division, explained why Haldane UK was chosen for the job: "We've worked with the company in the past, and we knew that it is the only company capable of achieving the complex profile of the handrail we wanted. The team understood our needs perfectly from the very first meeting, and was very accommodating throughout the project, making it a seamless operation from start to finish. On top of all that, Haldane finished the job ahead of the programme! We are delighted with both the quality of Haldane's work at Acacia Road, and the level of service we received - we'll certainly be using the company again!"
