Rennie Mackintosh Style Beads Catch International Eye

The superb quality of Haldane UK's intricate glass beading has brought recognition from the international marketplace.

The Scottish based company has won the contract to suplly glazing beads with a Charles Rennie Mackintosh design to Portugues door manufacturers, Vicaima, for a prestigious project in London's Docklands.

The European company had previously used beading from a German supplier but company spokesman, Steve Hughes, said Haldane had met their need in a very demanding situation.

"Haldane already has an excellent reputation in the market place for the manufacture of one-piece, circular glazing beads, however the quality of machinery and skills that the company posses, allows them to produce glazing beads to any design and to meet the most stringent safety standards."

He continued, "I was delighted at the quality of the finish of such an intricate bead. We are already talking to Haldane regarding future projects."
