Haldane Become Premier Supplier
Haldane Secure Major Contract With Premdor

Haldane UK, the UK's market leader for the manufacture and supply of timber handrails, glazing beads and stair components, has announced that it has secured a major long term contract with leading door manufacturer Premdor.

Haldane has secured the contract to supply all of Premdor's re-coatable glazing beads which follows on from the company's success in winning the contract for Premdor's fully finished beads in June 2002.

The contract success has been enabled by Haldane's investment in new equipment and its commitment to continuous improvement which has seen the entire manufacturing process redesigned, resulting in significant efficiency savings and an increase in production capacity.

Haldane's Managing Director, Forrester Adam, said "We are delighted to further enhance our close working relationship with Premdor, which has continued to grow for the last 5 years. Our commitment to the very highest levels of quality and customer service has been instrumental in securing this contract and forms a key element of our growth strategy."

He continued, "To ensure that our superior standards of quality and service are not sacrificed in any way, we have created a new manufacturing line, with additional employees, to accommodate the increase in capacity and moved to 2 shift system to meet the extremely tight deadlines we have agreed to."
