Craftsmen Join Forces to Raise Funds for Charity
Craftsmen from across the East of Scotland are planning to raise hundreds of pounds for CHAS at a sale of luxury timber products to be held on Saturday 15th November at Haldane UK's premises in Bankhead Industrial Estate, Glenrothes.
The sale has been organised by amateur cabinet maker, David Paul, and his wife June who have brought together a fantastic selection of craftsmen to showcase their products and raise some money all in the name of charity.
Those attending include Linlithgow based Digby Morrow whose handcrafted jewellery boxes are in demand across the world, woodworking students from Adam Smith College and some of Scotland's best wood turners and cabinet makers.
David explained, "It's something that I have been talking about with some fellow woodworkers for a while and when Haldane UK agreed to offer its premises and provide the teas and coffees we decided to make it happen."
He continued, "Visitors can expect to see a fantastic array of exotic timbers transformed into stunning products including clocks, bowls, ornaments, cabinets and of course Digby's superb jewellery boxes. Of course there will be teas and coffees on together with a home baking stand to ensure that everyone goes home happy."
